A Middlesboro father, who allegedly shot and killed his son, will go on trial later this year.
Richard Goodman appeared in court for a competency hearing.
Court officials declined to give us information on the hearing. However, they did tell us the trial is still set for August 21st.
Goodman allegedly shot his son, Richard Goodman Junior in April 2010 on his front porch and then left.
He was found and arrested in Harrogate, Tennessee.
