BELL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - A federal judge rules the Bell County fire department owns the fire station buildings up for sale.
The judge issued a partial ruling in the ongoing dispute between the fire department and judge-executive.
The fiscal court believed the taxpayers owned the buildings and attempted to stop the sale of several buildings.
The judges' ruling means the fire department can accept bids on the buildings.
