MIDDLESBORO, Ky. & HARROGATE, Tenn. (WYMT) - Some Lincoln Memorial University students presented two local charities with money and canned good donations.

The group Enactus held fundraisers to collect the items.

They evenly split up the donations between Cooperative Christian Ministry in Middlesboro and Servolution in Harrogate, Tennessee.

"We really saw the need here at CCM and Servolution, the need of food, the need of clothes and things like that. We really thought this was the best opportunity for us to help these guys out as much as we could," said Dustin Fowler.

They raised more than one thousand dollars and seven thousand cans of food for the charities.

Thursday, they presented a check for $623 to Cooperative Christian Ministry.
