MIDDLESBORO, Ky. (WYMT) - Hundreds of holiday shoppers have been taking advantage of Black Friday deals throughout the day.

WYMT's Paige Quiggins was at the Middlesboro Mall where the doors opened earlier than ever before.

For some, the sounds of the season begin with Black Friday

Hundreds came to the Middlesboro Mall to buy more on their wish lists and spend less from their pocketbooks.

Most of the people lined up in front of the Belk department store which opened at midnight and they said it is about more than just the deals for them.

Mall officials say the shoppers will come in non-stop all day.

Shoppers say they will continue to return year after year.

Mall officials say they won't know how much money came in until the holiday is over, since many stores won't close until 10 o'clock.
