Man charged with attempted murder

Police say they've charged a man with attempted murder for seriously injuring a woman several times in one night.

Middlesboro Police say Erstil Sheckles caused serious injuries to Tammy Baker on several occasions and did not provide her medical attention.

Baker was flown to the University of Tennessee Medical Center and is still there being treated.
