22 years later, and a mother still does not know who killed her daughter.

On August 16th, 1990, a Bell County woman went missing in the Pine Mountain State Park while she was running.

More than a week later, 21-year-old Jennifer Bailey was found strangled to death.

As the case grows colder, Janice Bailey, her mother, fears she will never know who took her daughter away.

"I just get in bad shape. I don't want to do nothing, I can't eat. It's awful. Its like going to hell and never coming back ," said Janice Bailey.

22 years ago, Jennifer Bailey told her mother she was going for a jog and should be back around noon.

Janice says her daughter always called if she was going to be late. That day Jennifer did not call, and she never came home.

"It was like a sledgehammer hit me in the chest about 12:00 that day, and I started screaming and crying," said Janice Bailey.

They would find Jennifer's body days later, strangled to death.

"It might be 22 years, but she was still my baby, and I still miss her, and I still love her," said Janice Bailey.

She says she only wants to know who killed her daughter.

"I want it solved. I want who ever did it to pay for it. I would want the needle put in their arm. That's what I want," said Janice Bailey.

But no matter how much she wants it, she believes she will never see justice, something she feels her daughter deserves.

If you have any information about the murder of Jennifer Bailey, you can call state police in Harlan.
