New superintendent chosen for Middlesboro Schools

MIDDLESBORO, Ky. (WYMT) - The Middlesboro Independent School District has a new superintendent.

Officials tell us the School Board selected Steve Martin to be the next superintendent.

He served as principal at Middlesboro Intermediate for 17 years.

Martin will officially begin his duties on July 1st.

He is succeeding Dr. Rita Cook.
