An ordinance will allow firefighters in Middlesboro to receive money they were not paid dating back from April 2004 to April 2009.
The firefighters were not paid for un-mandated overtime.
An ordinance which was read earlier this year meet opposition as lawyers could not decide if the back pay was salary or incentive pay.
