BELL Co., Ky. (WYMT) - In the Pineville community one thing is clear. Jimmy Rose is a hometown hero.
Ashley Madon lives in Bell County and agrees.
"I think he's a hero because everybody is starting to look up to him," said Madon. "He's a small town boy, but had a big dream and he followed through with it."
Downtown across from Courthouse Square is The Flocoe restaurant.
Signs of support for Jimmy Rose proudly hang at the front.
Rosemary Combs and her family have owned the establishment for the 30 years.
However, Rosemary said she never saw a larger crowd when Rose returned home for a visit.
"He has absolutely put Pineville, Kentucky on the map for which
we are very proud of," said Combs.
Fans like Combs and Madon cheered Rose on Tuesday night.
The judges shared mixed reactions to his performance.
Rose said he is staying positive.
"You know if was a tough night," said Rose. "Everybody was on top of it and I felt like I delivered a good solid performance. I feel good
