Some ATV trails in eastern Kentucky are getting some national recognition.
Fisher's ATV World, a show on the Outdoor Channel, is filming episodes in Bell County.
County leaders asked them to promote adventure tourism here.
Brian Fisher spent several days riding ATVs in the mountains in Bell County.
"I like coming here. The people are good. It's like coming home again," said Brian Fisher.
Fisher and his friends are shooting episodes for "Fisher's ATV World," the show he hosts on the Outdoor Channel.
"We're shooting this for the masses. Millions of people are going to see this. It's a really nice area, and we like to feature it, and bring the masses here to enjoy it too," said Fisher.
Bringing in the masses is just what Bell County leaders hope to see. They wanted Fisher's ATV World to do episodes here to showcase the area to the country and attract ATV riders. Leaders say the exposure brought five thousand tourists last October.
"Adventure tourism is exploding and a big part of that is having Fisher's ATV World helping us promote our area," said Albey Brock, Bell County Judge-Executive.
"Camping, riding, fishing, hanging out, having a good time and we couldn't think of a better place to bring them than here," said Fisher.
The episodes will air in July or August.
Fisher also brought some sponsors here to shoot some commercials in Pineville.
