The search for a new Bell County superintendent is now underway.
There are 10 applicants for the position.
Eight from Kentucky, one from Georgia and another from Indiana.
A screening committee is expected to present the board of education with a recommendation on April 12th.
At that time, the board will decide who to hire, however, it does not have to be one of those recommended by the committee.
