Seven convicted of vote fraud have property seized

Seven of the eight people from Clay County, who were recently found guilty in a vote fraud scheme, had their property seized.

The Manchester Enterprise reports the government seized seven pieces of property owned by former circuit judge Cletus Maricle.

Multiple pieces of property were seized from former Clay superintendent Doug Adams and former magistrate Stanley Bowling.

Homes were seized from William Stivers, Charles Wayne Jones, and William and Debra Morris.

The group was found guilty in March.
