Clay County deputy EM director dies following ATV accident

CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - The deputy director for Clay County's emergency management agency has died.

Family members say Jennings Johnson was on an ATV Sunday afternoon going to fill his deer feeders when he stopped on an embankment and the vehicle flipped, landing on top of him.

We are told Johnson was first taken to Manchester Memorial Hospital and then flown to UK Hospital.

We are told he died in route to Lexington.
