PERRY Co., Ky. (WYMT) - Over the next four days, officials with the Eastern Kentucky Concentrated Employment Program are holding customer service job screenings for Kentucky Teleworks.

EKCEP officials say the screenings are the first step towards a new career.

The process begins on July 9th at 10 a.m. at the Kentucky Career Center Perry County JobSight.

Michael Cornett is the director of agency expansion and public relations.

Cornett says the positions begin in August and encourages anyone to apply.

"That means they can work those jobs at a home office, but can still get full pay and full benefits," said Cornett. "Just like an actual employee for a company except they're working at an home office."

Cornett says this is bringing many opportunities to Eastern Kentucky.

The second screening is on July 11th in Prestonsburg at the Kentucky Career Center.

The third screening is on July 12th in Manchester at the Clay County JobSight at Daniel Boone Community Action Agency.
