A man charged with murder is set for a pre-trial hearing on October 31st in Clay County Circuit Court.
Police say Lannie Sizemore was driving his SUV on U.S. 421 near Manchester when he crossed the center line and hit a car driven by 35 year-old Ellen Fletcher, who later died.
The accident happened in November, 2009.
A special prosecutor is now assigned to the case.
