WINTER STORM WARNING
Bell, Harlan, Letcher, & Pike
Several inches of heavy wet snow are expected to fall in the higher terrain above 2000 feet elevation of far southeast Kentucky Monday afternoon through Tuesday night.
This is a powerful storm system that includes moisture and energy from what is now Hurricane Sandy
This system will bring abundant precipitation and strong gusty winds to parts of east Kentucky early this week.
The higher elevations will not be alone in seeing snowfall. It looks like most of our region stands a good chance to see accumulating snow.
