The trial of a central Kentucky doctor accused of killing his wife continued today in Boyle County.
During the second day of testimony in the trial of Dr. Steven Hall the prosecution tried to show the jury how Dr. Hall's story about how his wife died on the lake changed from one police interview to the next.
The defense tried to show how the investigators were changing the story around. The defense says Dr. Hall was arrested for the murder of his wife without any proof that he intended to run over his wife with the pontoon boat. Attorney Steve Nomines says police were only looking for evidence after charging Dr. Hall with murder.
The prosecution says when Detective Chris Short questioned Dr. Hall, Hall admitted to making an inappropriate comparison between his wife and another woman leading to a fight.
The Commonwealth Attorney says this is a different story from the one Hall initially told the first responders like Fire Chief Donnie Sexton, originally leaving out any details about the fight.
More witnesses are expected to testify in this trial.
