LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - There's a new number-one team in Kentucky Two-A high school football. Newport Central Catholic jumped from number-two to number-one in the division after former-number-one Danville lost. The Admirals suffered their second loss of the season, Friday, 20-19 to Frankfort.

Newport Central Catholic is 8-1 and has won six in a row.

Belfry, Fort Thomas Highlands, and Louisville Saint Xavier were unanimous number ones in divisions Three-A, Five-A and Six-A.

Beechwood held the number-one position in One-A, as did Bell County in Four-A.

Sixteen media outlets across Kentucky participated in this week's Associated Press Kentucky High School football poll.
