An early morning crash in one central Kentucky county led police to a much bigger investigation.
The crash happened Tuesday morning on Shakertown Road in Boyle County.
After Steven Wilson crashed his car, police say they found liquor bottles and guns inside.
That evidence led police to get a warrant to search Wilson's home.
Once inside, police say they found weapons, pills, and thousands of dollars in money.
Wilson is now in the hospital with critical injuries.
Police say he faces a long list of charges.
