Boyle County food pantry asks for help after loss of funding

DANVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - Workers at a central Kentucky food pantry say they've been hit with a huge setback.

They say they've lost their funding and may have to cut back on services without some help.

Workers at Harvesting Hope in Danville say two of the companies who helped start the food pantry had to pull their funding for economic reasons.

They're now hoping donors will step up to help make up the money that's been lost.

Workers say it costs $18,000 a month to run the food pantry, which serves about 2,000 people each month.
