It was like a scene from the movie. Danville Police say Elton Chambers barricaded himself, firing 20 rounds through his door, shooting at police.
Danville Assistant Police Chief Tony Gray put his negotiating skills to use Monday night when Chambers began firing. Gray fired back with his weapon, not a gun but a cell phone.
After a 25 minute phone conversation, the active scene ended with Chambers surrendering peacefully.
Several weapons were retrieved from Chambers' possession.
He is now facing multiple charges of Wanton Endangerment, 1st Degree.
