A man dressed as a woman is the suspect behind a bank robbery in central Kentucky Thursday.
The robbery happened around 1:30 p.m. at the Cumberland Valley National Bank on Big Hill Road in Berea.
Police say the robber, a thin, white man about 6'2", came into the bank wearing a woman's green coat with fur trim, a wig, and makeup, then pulled out a silver semi-automatic handgun.
Witnesses think he got away in a dark colored Nissan sedan.
Police later found some of the money.
They're looking into whether this is connected to other robberies in Danville and Richmond where the robber was also dressed in drag.
