Kentucky State Police now say they want to find two men in connection with shots being fired at a Russell County Sheriff's deputy.
They are looking for 24-year-old Shawn Durham and his cousin, 23-year-old Mike Durham, to question them.
Police have been looking for the Durhams since early Monday, when investigators say they broke into a retired couple's Junction City home and robbed the two at gunpoint.
Wednesday morning, a sheriff's deputy pulled over a dark-colored, early 2000's model Ford Taurus with no license plates on Ky. 1730 near Wolfe Creek Dam.
Several shots were fired from the vehicle, hitting Deputy Cary York.
He escaped serious injuries thanks to a bullet-proof vest.
Junction City Police were able to name the Durhams as suspects in Monday's home invasion after they tried cashing in rare coins stolen during the robbery at the Danville Walmart.
Nicole West was later arrested for receiving stolen property in connection with the home invasion. She is now in the Boyle County Jail.
Police say the two men were driving a dark, four-door sedan during the robbery.
Officials tell 27 NEWSFIRST the car is the only connection detectives have made between the two crimes at this time. But they are looking at other evidence and every possible scenario.
Anyone with information on the Durhams' whereabouts is asked to call KSP at 1-800-222-5555.
