Two teens are recovering after nearly crashing a car into a central Kentucky pond.
Police say the two were on their way to school Friday morning in Boyle County, when 19-year-old Jacob Salley lost control of his car on Highway 1822, near U.S. 150.
The car hit a telephone pole, and nearly crashed into a pond.
Police say it appears Salley was speeding. The road was wet at the time too.
He was flown to UK Hospital, but he's said to have non-life threatening injuries.
Salley's passenger, 16-year-old Jessica Hill, was not seriously hurt.
