Family members say they're in shock after a beloved couple is killed in a motorcycle crash. David and Angela Sebastian were riding their motorcycle on Highway-52 just east of Danville in Boyle County when they lost control on a curve and slammed into an oncoming SUV. They were both flown to UK where they died from their injuries.
They were on their way to a family reunion now David and Angela Sebastian's family has a funeral to plan as they try to come to terms with the grief from the sudden loss. "I just want to wake up and pretend this day just never happened," Angela's younger brother Curtis Childress said.
Family members say they're trying to pull together to support each other in this difficult time, especially for the sake of David and Angela's three children, two of whom were riding in a car behind their parents and saw the collision. "I always felt their kids were so blessed to have them as parents, and anyone that had them in their life at all was blessed. I felt very fortunate, and as hard as it is, I'm grateful for the memories that she gave me in the short time I've known them," Angela's sister-in-law Jennifer Childress said.
Well-known in the local hospitality industry, the couple managed area hotels, and David was just about to start a new job. Family members say the two were loved by their employees and countless others throughout the community.
Visitation for David and Angela Sebastian will be Tuesday from 5pm to 9pm at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home in Richmond.
