Danville Police say this all happened in the early hours of Sunday morning. They say they responded to Gators nightclub in Danville to find a woman who said she was assaulted by her sister's boyfriend, 45-year-old Marvin Goodman.

"Said he pistol whipped her and she went unconscious and had a laceration to the side of the head and went to the hospital. By the time officers got there he was gone," says Captain James Monroe with Danville Police.

In the meantime police say he robbed two men, Patrick Feran and Joseph Morlock, who had left work and were walking down Carrigan Drive when they say he pulled a gun.

"When I heard the click it kinda scared me a little bit and i just did what he said," says Joseph Morlock, who was robbed at gunpoint.

That's when they say he took their wallets and cell phones. Danville Police say they soon cornered him behind the Country Hearth Inn and arrested Goodman, who they've dealt with before.

:In early 2008 he stole a car here at a local Speedway and there was a 5-year-old in the back of the car and he was sentenced to serve time over that," says Captain James Monroe.

Goodman is now back behind bars facing a number of charges in this crime including robbery, assault, fleeing and evading police, and possession of marijuana.

Joseph Morlock says says he's just glad the situation wasn't any worse.

"Very thankful that nothing bad happened. Good to have my life and that makes you think twice about life," says Joseph Morlock.

We did contact Marvin Goodman for an interview, but he denied our request.

Marvin Goodman has also been charged with using a stolen credit card, which stems from another recent incident.

As for the woman who was assaulted, Brihanna Trumbo, she is now out of the hospital and her family says is doing fine.
