DANVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - A man is accused of holding his ex-girlfriend against her will inside a college dorm room.

Danville Police got a call about a disturbance on Colonel Drive, just before one Wednesday morning. Once there, a Centre College student told officers that her ex-boyfriend entered her dorm room and assaulted her. The woman told police that the man refused to let her leave for an extended period of time.

Police issued a warrant for the arrest of William T. Hayden. He was taken into custody by Kentucky State Police in Sonora, where he lives. The 20-year old is charged with assault, burglary and kidnapping.

The victim had minor injuries due to the attack.
