For the second day in a row, Danville Police are investigating a robbery at a motel.

Investigators say a man walked into the Super 8 motel on the bypass just after 12 a.m., showed a handgun and grabbed cash from the register before leaving.

The suspect is described as a white man, standing around 5'10" with a thin build.

He was wearing brown pants and a blue hoodie with his face partially covered.

Early Monday, there was an attempted robbery at the Comfort Suites on Perryville Road. The clerk told the robber "no" during the hold-up. The employee told investigators it looked like the suspect had a toy gun.

There is no word yet from police on whether the crimes could be connected.
