A sheriff's deputy responding to burglary call early Tuesday was involved in an accident.
It happened at Walnut and Third Streets in Danville. The cruiser's lights and sirens were on at the time, according to investigators.
The other driver had the green light and wasn't hurt, according to Kentucky State Police.
The injured Boyle County Sheriff's deputy was able to walk to the emergency room of Ephraim-McDowell Hospital, which was nearby.
He suffered cuts and bruises.
The deputy's name hasn't been released.
He is expected to be okay.
