Bowling wins Ky. Open

Updated: 02/05/2010 - LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University senior golfer Trey Bowling won the 2008 Kentucky Open by two shots. EKU golfers have now won the event two straight years, Phil Hendrickson claimed the 2007 title. Bowling fired a 1-under par 71 during Thursday’s final round of the 89th Open and finished with a three-round total of 206, 10-under par. Bowling, who entered the day tied for the lead with Troy Hawkins, held off a charge from Andrew Stephens (208).
