Football Wildcats exceeded preseason predictions

Posted: 02/05/2010 - A look back at the predictions made by the national preseason magazines shows that the Kentucky football team exceeded the projections by the publications that forecast a final record. Kentucky finished 7-5 during the regular season, tied for fourth place in the Southeastern Conference Eastern Division. Two magazines, The Sporting News and Scout.com, picked a 6-6 record for the Wildcats. Athlon Magazine forecast a 4-6 mark with two games designated as unpredicted swing games.
