A hearing is set for Thursday on whether the state cabinet for health and family services should be held in contempt of court.
According to the Courier Journal, Appalachian Regional Healthcare officials claim the cabinet is not letting around 8,400 Coventry Care patients transfer to a different Medicaid insurance company.
The court recently required Coventry to continue paying ARH for seeing its patients through November 1st.
Coventry decided to terminate its contract with ARH in April.
