PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (WYMT) - An Eastern Kentucky radio station is working to help folks in Oklahoma affected by this week's tornadoes.

Q95FM in Prestonsburg is partnering with the Red Cross to collect donations.

They will be taking them to hard hit Moore, Oklahoma.

They are asking for non-perishable food items, diapers, dog food, garbage bags and toiletries.

"I was sitting at home on Monday watching the tornado coverage that was coming out of Oklahoma and sitting there thinking and feeling helpless about what we could do to make a difference. So Tuesday I came to work, and we started working on this and things have really come together," said Q95FM Program Director Josh Good.

You can donate during business hours at Q95FM in Prestonsburg.
