MARTIN, Ky. (WYMT) - An Eastern Kentucky school is working to renovate a new school building, but they need a lot of money to do it.
Staff at the Piarist School in Floyd County say they have outgrown their current building and have acquired a warehouse in Prestonsburg to move into.
They say the building needs a lot of work before it is ready to house students, and all that work will cost nearly $2 million.
"We're dedicated to helping this area in the manner of education, and we hope that there will be people in this area willing to help us accomplish that," said Father Thomas Carroll, Piarist School principal.
Anyone wanting to donate can contact the school.
