A Floyd County man will be sentenced Thursday.
Malen Mitchell pleaded guilty to manslaughter earlier this year.
Last July, police say Mitchell crossed the center line on Route 979 and hit another car, killing 22-year-old Tiffany Adams.
The recommended sentence is 10 years.
