A man, convicted of killing his niece and her husband, wants a new trial.
Lawyers for Berry Hall made the request during a hearing in Floyd County.
They also want the death penalty off the table and a 9-1-1 call excluded from evidence if a new trial is granted.
A jury convicted Hall in April.
He received two life sentences last month.
