Floyd County man will soon learn how long he will spend behind bars

Later this week we could find out how long a Floyd County man will spend behind bars.

Later this week we could find out how long a Floyd County man will spend behind bars.

Marion Kilburn was convicted in May on two counts of assault and DUI.

In February of 2011 he crashed into a car carrying a five-year-old child.

Police say he was driving on the wrong side of U.S. 23 and was drunk at the time of the crash.

A jury recommended a 23 year sentence.

He is set to be sentenced on Friday.
