151st Battle of Middle Creek Commemoration March -- Muster at First Commonwealth Bank - FREE

March from the site of the Garfield House (the First Commonwealth Bank Building) up Ky Rt. 114 to the Middle Creek National Battlefield, then on up to the mountain top to map surviving artifacts of the Confederate defense, Finally to the Davis Farm on the Left Fork of Middle Creek for a customary dinner and encampment.

6:00 pm – “Woodstock in Prestonsburg” Benefit Concert – Big Sandy Community & Technical College – Gearheart Auditorium in the Pike Building - $5.00

Performers include Jeremy Dempsey, Susan Scott, Haley Sullivan, Crosley, Steel and Nast (a.k.a. – Clyde Porter, Richard Sexton & Clark Sexton). Half of the money raised will be donated to a BSCTC student organization, with the remainder given to the performers to defray their costs. Dress for the concert is casual. Love beads are optional.
