Several young performers sang their hearts out to be a finalist in this year's Country Music Highway Road to Fame Saturday night.
The performance was the second night of semifinals.
Five people were made finalists at Friday’s night performances, and five others were selected from Saturday’s.
Those top ten singers will compete in the finals on July 13th.
Organizers say the main goal of the competition is to discover the talent from our own mountains.
“Our people in the mountains are so talented. US 23, the Country Music Highway, the hometown of all those superstars that we've had from here, that's one of the purposes of this program," said Tourism Commission Director, Fred James.
