Slide repair set Monday on Hargis Road in Johnson

JOHNSON COUNTY (February 15, 2013) — Traffic delays await motorists who travel Hargis Road (KY 1409) in Johnson County beginning Monday, February 18, shortly after 8 o’clock in the morning.

The work involves drilling rocks too large to be lifted, breaking them into smaller pieces so they can be scooped into dump trucks and hauled away.

Flaggers will control traffic throughout the work zone. Work is expected from shortly after 8 o’clock each morning until dark, with a break in the afternoon to allow school bus traffic to flow without delay.

The work may take several days and could be slowed by adverse weather conditions. Motorists should either plan for the delays or choose an alternate route.
