PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (WYMT) - A Floyd County woman and her granddaughter are dead following a car accident this weekend.
Kentucky State Police say Peggy Sue Case was driving on U.S. 23 with her granddaughter,16-year-old Ashley Case, when she lost control of the car.
The car veered into the northbound lane where it was "t-boned" by a car driven by Carl Johnson.
Johnson and his two passengers were taken to Pikeville Medical Center for their injuries.
A joint funeral ceremony will be held for Peggy and Ashley Case on Wednesday at the First Church of God in Prestonsburg.
