PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (WYMT) - A Prestonsburg woman allegedly threatened a witness in an animal cruelty case.
The Floyd County Times reports officials say Vanessa Howard allegedly called and threatened an animal control officer.
In October, Howard was arrested and charged with 30 counts of animal cruelty after officials found dead animals in her home.
She now faces a felony charge of intimidating a participant in the legal process.
