Cincinnati police are investigating the murder of Frankfort resident Justin Troxell. Troxell's body was found in his car in the South Fairmont neighborhood of Cinicinnati on Thursday. He had been shot in the face.
Relatives in Frankfort say Troxell was giving a ride to a couple of friends who were trying to visit family in Indiana.
Troxell's aunt, Michelle Williamson, says her nephew was very trusting of people. She says many people in the family were suspicious of the friends Troxell was giving a ride to and had advised him to stay away from them.
Troxell had a 6-month-old daughter and was engaged to the child's mother.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Harrod Brothers Funeral home in Frankfort.
