Two people face charges after police say they found marijuana and firearms while serving out search warrants.
Frankfort Police say with the help of Kentucky State Police, they served out the warrants Thursday morning at homes on Camp Pleasant and Owenton Roads.
Police say they found marijuana and a "significant" number of firearms, which were confiscated.
42-year-old Randy Robertson, of Camp Pleasant Road, was arrested. He's charged with cultivating marijuana, with a penalty enhancement for possessing firearms.
40-year-old Gwynne Robertson, of Owenton Road, was also arrested. She's charged with cultivating marijuana, with a penalty enhancement for possessing a firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a prescription drug in an improper container.
Both suspects were lodged in the Franklin County Regional Jail. Police say more arrests are likely in these cases.
