A group of Kentucky missionaries may have left Haiti shortly after January's earthquake, but they haven't abandoned their goal of helping the country.
Capital City Christian Church organized a concert Friday night. The proceeds from the concert will go to relief efforts in Haiti.
The concert featured local musician Beth Current and the band Audio Adrenaline.
A missions group from the church was in Port-Au-Prince when the earthquake hit. They were stuck in the country for several days before they could get out.
Church members haven't returned to Haiti yet because they don't have the expertise of what's needed in the country right now.
They hope to resume their mission work there early next year.
