The afternoon snow flurries didn't cause many problems.
Our news crew in Frankfort saw a lot of people out picking up household essentials, planning ahead to stay off of the roads until the weather clears up and the ice melts away.
And while the snow didn't cause problems, road crews are concerned about the puddles on the road freezing to cause slick spots.
Many drivers said they aren't taking any chances.
"My plans are simply to head back home as quickly as possible, and stay out of this as much as possible. Because I do not want to ruin my car or endanger anyone else in the weather, dealing with this because we may have ice tonight," said Stuart Victor.
Crews from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet are urging drivers to stay off the roads if possible. If you need to be out and about, they are warning you to drive with extreme caution.
