A family is suing a cemetery, saying their mother rolled out of her casket when the company used a back hoe to bury her.

Earlier this month, Katherine Galbraith's daughters filed a civil suit in Franklin County against Saber Management, the corporation that runs the cemetery where their mother is buried, Sunset Memorial Gardens.  In the lawsuit, they claim Saber employees used a back hoe to get the casket to its final resting place.  They say the employees dropped their mother's casket so hard during this process, they broke a handle and a lid off the casket.  Funeral Director Will Harrod was with the family when they asked to see the damage for themselves.

"My observation of Ms. Galbraith, she had a lot of debris and dirt on her.  She had an abrasion on her forehead like she had come in contact with something pretty abrasive.  I don't know what that material could have been, all I know is that it was not the normal circumstance," Harrod tells 27NEWSFIRST.

Saber Management, headquartered in Indiana, did not return phone calls Monday.
