The search continues for a man police say held up two central Kentucky gas stations in a matter of minutes, and shot a clerk.
Both robberies happened at gas stations Monday night along East Main Street in Frankfort.
Frankfort Police are calling the suspect armed and dangerous, and they're hoping the public can help find him.
Surveillance video taken during the second robbery, at the Speedy Mart, shows the suspect entering the store with a gun.
Police describe the suspect as a black man, around 6 feet tall, who wore a black hooded sweatshirt, and red basketball shorts.
The video shows the suspect going straight for the cash register.
During that time, the suspect apparently threatened the clerk, who friends say was unarmed.
The suspect then shot the clerk once in the leg, before leaving the store with an unknown amount of money.
The victim's co-worker was in the bathroom of the store at the time of the robbery. He said it all happened so fast, and he still can't believe his co-worker was shot.
"Definitely, I mean I don't know why they had to shoot him, they took the money, they shouldn't have shot him, no reason," Badar Mohammed, the victim's co-worker, said. "He's just doing his job, he gave the money, he didn't fight with him, nothing."
Police also released surveillance video of the first robbery, at Kat's Quick Stop, just down the street.
Video shows who appears to be the same man entering the store and again demanding money at gunpoint from the clerk.
The clerk who was shot was transferred to UK Hospital, with non-life threatening injuries. He is expected to be ok.
Franklin County Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest in this case.
