Hospital contacts police about robbery victim

Police say a woman showed up at a hospital with injuries, claiming she had been robbed.

Officials at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center called Frankfort Police just after one Thursday morning.

The 35-year old victim told police that as she was walking down the 1300 block of Schenkel Lane, she was attacked from behind by three perpetrators. She said that the robbers struck her in the back of the head, punched and kicked her. At one point, she told police a knife blade was held against her throat.

The robbers stole cash from her purse before taking off.

The victim, Destiny Boles, could only describe the perpetrators as a black male and two white females. They ran off through the parking lot of an adjacent apartment building.

Police are asking anyone who may have information about this crime to please call them at 502 875-8523. Information may be given anonymously by calling Frankfort Crime Stoppers at 502 875-8648 or on the web at www.frankfortcrimestoppers.com. Crime Stoppers may pay a cash reward of up to $1,000.00 for information leading to an arrest in this case.
