A central Kentucky man is under arrest after investigators say they found thousands of images and videos of child pornography in his possession.

According to the Kentucky attorney general's office, 26-year-old Joshua Thompson, of Frankfort, is charged with ten counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and one count of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.

Investigators say Thompson had more than 80,000 images and video of child pornography in his possession.

The attorney general's office says investigators executed a search warrant at Thompson's Frankfort home on October 22.

He's scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday. The attorney general's office says he is being held on a $100,000 full cash bond.
